Antisemitism has surged since October 7, 2023, fulfilling Bible prophecy in Zechariah 12. Discover why opposing Israel is opposing God and the urgent call to repent before Christ’s return.
Is antisemitism on the rise in 2025?

Antisemitism is nothing new. It has existed for centuries, woven into the history of humanity through hatred, lies, and persecution. However, since Hamas brutally attacked Israel on October 7th, 2023, the world has witnessed unprecedented levels of antisemitism. Across the globe, voices are growing louder, more dangerous, and more brazen in their opposition to the Jewish people. It is no coincidence.
The forces behind this hatred are not merely political or cultural—they are spiritual. Satan has always sought to destroy God’s chosen people, because their very existence is a testimony to God’s faithfulness and His covenant promises. Today, individuals, organisations, and even entire governments are under this dark influence, spreading lies and stirring up violence.
The Reality in the UK
Here in the United Kingdom, so-called “pro-Palestinian” marches take place almost daily in major towns and cities. The claim is that they are standing for justice, but in reality, these gatherings have become breeding grounds for antisemitic slogans, anti-Israel propaganda, and often open hostility towards the Jewish people.
Many marchers have little or no understanding of Israel’s history, the biblical covenant God made with Abraham, or the truth about the conflicts in the Middle East. This ignorance is dangerous—because it fuels a movement that aligns itself against the will of God.
Bible Prophecy Being Fulfilled Before Our Eyes

The prophet Zechariah wrote of a time when all nations would gather against Jerusalem:
“On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem… On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.”
(Zechariah 12:8–9)
We are watching this unfold in real time. The hostility toward Israel is not just political posturing—it is a direct fulfilment of Bible prophecy. God warned that the nations who come against Jerusalem will face His judgement.
On May 14th, 1948, Israel was restored as a nation—a miracle in itself. And God’s Word is clear:
“Jerusalem will never again be destroyed.”
(Zechariah 14:11)
Despite what the world may shout, despite threats and violence, Jerusalem’s destiny is secured by the Creator Himself.
The Urgency of the Hour
Those who rise against Israel are not merely opposing a nation; they are opposing God Himself. His patience will not last forever. The time is coming—and it may be far sooner than many expect—when Jesus Christ will return for His bride in the rapture.
In that moment, believers in Christ will be taken from this world, and those left behind—including the unrepentant antisemites—will face the horrors of the Great Tribulation.
The only hope for anyone, no matter their background, is repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

This is not a political issue. It is a spiritual one. And the stakes are eternal.
If you are reading this and harbour hatred toward Israel or the Jewish people, understand this: you are standing on dangerous ground. God’s covenant with Israel still stands, His promises have never failed, and His judgement on those who oppose His people is certain.
A Prayer for Salvation
If the Holy Spirit is speaking to your heart today, you can turn to Jesus right now:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again. Today I turn from my sin, including any hatred or prejudice, and I turn to You in faith. Please come into my heart, be my Saviour, and guide my life. I commit myself to You now. Amen.”
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.’”
(Psalm 122:6)
